The Story

THE EYE TRILOGY DVD COLLECTION contains the three groundbreaking Asian horror films from The Pang Brothers: THE EYE (2002), THE EYE 2 (2004) and THE EYE...INIFNITY (2005)

THE EYE (2002)

Twenty-year-old Mun (Anjelica Lee), who has been blind since the age of two, decides to undergo a risky corneal transplant operation. When the bandages come off, the operation seems to have been successful, but Mun begins to experience unnerving visions of mysterious strangers - and it soon transpires that the face she is seeing in the mirror is not her own. Desperate to escape from this nightmare, Mun sets out to discover the identity of the person through whose eyes she is now viewing the world.

(warning: contains a sequence involving strobe lights)

THE EYE 2 (2004)

Joey Cheng (Shu Qi) is in a fragile emotional state following her third consecutive relationship break-up. When her most recent married lover Sam (Jesdaporn Pholdee) starts avoiding her calls, Joey tries manic retail therapy to ease her pain - and then, in a cry for help, stages a half-hearted suicide bid. But her overdose triggers a series of unsettling phantom visions that increase in intensity when she discovers she's pregnant. When a mysterious female ghost starts following her every move, she realises to her horror that she is bearing the reincarnation of Sam's wife (Eugenia Yuan), who committed suicide over their affair...

THE EYE...INFINITY (2005)

A group of teenagers who travel to Thailand and pass the time by dabbling in black magic and telling each other ghost stories. After stumbling across a book that claims to be the key to seeing the dead, the group unleash a series of strange events that will have lasting repercussions.

Based on local Asian superstitions, folk-horror and the belief in traditions of black magic, THE EYE brought these Asian stories to the world which, over 20 years later, still are as impactful for horror fans. Discover all three instalments in this Tartan Asia Extreme DVD boxset.
