Legendary punk director Gakuryu Ishii (ex Sogo Ishii) adapts the famously “unfilmable” Ko Machida novel Punk Samurai Slash Down, telling the story of Junoshin Kake (Go Ayano), a ronin with ambitions to be a part of the Kuroae clan.

To do this, Junoshin fabricates a lie to the clan that an old religious cult is out to destroy them, so he must assist them and become a member. Slowly, his lie begins to unravel as he attempts anything to uphold his constructed scenario, which results in the old cult resurfacing and taking over the land!
